Tool Description:

The Model 1891 and 1892 Compact Gang Programmers were developed to program the Intel Flash family of parts, as well as a wide range of other devices. With such standard features as silicon-signature device registration, write error checking, high-speed programming on up to 8 sites, and an-easy-to-read LCD display, the Models 1891 and 1892 offer the perfect solution for all production programming environments.
In keeping with the ever-changing demands of the programmer industry, Minato¦s device support list and programming modules are constantly updated to support even the most current Intel Flash memory devices. Many of these programming modules have eight sockets to provide exceptional support for the heavy output demands of production. All sockets are equipped with independent power supplies and signal circuits, ensuring reliable programming.
Our support of package types includes DIP, SDIP, PLCC, QFP, TQFP, SQFP, SOP and TSOP. In addition to flash memory support, the Models 1891 and 1892 can program E/EPROMs, microcontrollers and other devices of up to 8-Mbit density.
Eight separate diagnostic test programs provide for verification and adjustments. These test programs are especially valuable in production settings where the Models 1891 and 1892 are used for very high throughput, and are required to undergo regular preventative maintenance.
